The concept of Wheels Arcade was first brought to life with the inaugural event in New York City. Held at Manhattan's OS NYC, the event transformed the venue into a high-octane racing battleground. Participants competed for a significant 20,000 $WILD prize pool, racing on advanced simulators and PCs. The event featured multiple competitions, including the fastest lap time and most wins, rewarding top racers with substantial $WILD prizes. The NYC event set the stage for future Wheels Arcade tournaments, highlighting the community's enthusiasm and the competitive spirit of Wilder World.
Following this success, Wheels Arcade expanded into the virtual realm with its first virtual racing competition in May 2024. This event brought the excitement of Midnight in Wiami racing to a global audience, offering an impressive 100,000 $WILD in prizes. The virtual tournament featured weekly qualifying rounds, where racers competed on different tracks for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the grand finale in Austin, Texas. The virtual format allowed for wide participation, ensuring that racing enthusiasts from all corners of the world could join in the competition.
The grand finale, Wheels Arcade Austin, was a spectacular event held at Dada Lab. This IRL event brought together the top qualifiers from the virtual tournament, who competed in a thrilling race for the ultimate prizes. Eligibility: The tournament is open to all participants who have access to Wilder World online. Participants must comply with all eligibility requirements specified in the rules. You must connect your ETH wallet in the Wilder World UI in order to be eligible for prizes or qualification.
Hardware: It is recommended that you use our suggested hardware on the Epic Games store, we are not responsible for your hardware constraints or limitations.
Competition Period: The tournament will run weekly, starting from May 1st to June 1st. All hotlap submissions must be made within this period to be considered valid.
Fair Play: Participants must abide by fair play principles and refrain from cheating, exploiting bugs, or using unfair advantages. Any violation of fair play rules will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.
Submission Deadline: All hotlap submissions must be made by the specified submission deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted. All hotlap submissions must be made weekly by Tuesday 12 Midnight PT.
Verification: Submitted lap times will be verified by tournament officials for accuracy and legitimacy. Any attempt to manipulate or falsify submission data will result in disqualification.
Rewards: Weekly rewards will be distributed to the top performers based on their lap times. The distribution of rewards is subject to change at the discretion of tournament organizers. The target delivery of weekly rewards will happen at the beginning of the following week.
In-Person Tournament: Eligible participants with the fastest lap time of the week will be eligible to participate in the in-person tournament in Austin on May 31st. Travel and accommodation expenses for the in-person tournament will be covered by the organizers for the chosen eligible individual.
Liability: The tournament organizers, including but not limited to Wilder World, shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation in the tournament. Participants compete at their own risk.
Privacy: By participating in the tournament, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for tournament-related purposes. Your privacy rights will be respected in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Amendments: Tournament organizers reserve the right to amend the rules and regulations of the tournament at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated to participants via official channels.
Final Determinations: The organizers reserve the right to make final determinations regarding any allegations of cheating or rule violations. All decisions regarding disqualifications and penalties are final and are not subject to appeal.
